Gosh, that's a familiar phrasing. Where can I have seen similar before?

Not that unusual a phrase, is it? :conf:

T'other were a decent conversation... funnily enough coincides with a discussion last night... hang on...

I like to look back at stuff, but I was actually looking for somebody urging 'a punt' on Cox from Swindon

If you were Stoke you could splash out £3.25m on Jon Walters (leaving you with over £10m still for Cleveland Taylor and Nathan Woolfe).

Very good, but I can't see St Johnstone wanting to sell him off cheaply

That'll be the Cox who when this thread was started was in League 1, and is now playing Premiership football then? And is still only 23.

Walters looks a completely different prospect now to the guy I saw play maybe twice for us. He's really filled out and looks like a decent athlete now.

And he was a bit unlucky not to be awarded a goal on his home debut. Maybe Glen Hoddle could work similar magic with Woolfe in Spain.

I liked Walters when he played for us, if he'd come through when we were comfortable as opposed to fighting the drop he might have done better. Then again I thought Liam Ridgewell was a good un so......
