Chung Yong Lee contract
It's reported he's signed a new 3 year contract, good news as anyone coming in for him will have to bid a goodly sum of money.

Or he could stay with us for three years and lead us to glory.Riviman wrote:It's reported he's signed a new 3 year contract, good news as anyone coming in for him will have to bid a goodly sum of money.

It's different having big earners on the pitch than it is on the bench/reserves imho.BWFC_Insane wrote:35K a week?
Jeez.
Its good that the club are tying up players on contracts.
But I hope come the January window that people aren't moaning when the inevitable "need to reduce the wage bill before we buy" statements are released.

We've paid Shittu and Hunt considerable portions of their wage in order to release them.East Lower wrote:I've heard it's £27,000 per week after tax.
When does the new contract expire?
Having said that - we've let Hunt and Shittu leave, that's nigh on £50,000 per week off the wage bill - so doubling the lad's wages is not that much of a stretch.
Imagine they'll both effectively be on the wage bill for a lot of the season.

True enough, but seeing as they both had another year on top of this one at (say) a combined £50,000 per week then we will have saved a fair old portion that can be allocated elsewhere.BWFC_Insane wrote:We've paid Shittu and Hunt considerable portions of their wage in order to release them.East Lower wrote:I've heard it's £27,000 per week after tax.

Good to see that our main men are getting tied down anyway.
