Is his goal celebration patronising aswell?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Now confirmed by Alan Nixon who also suggests that we are still interested in signing Moreno on a permanent deal.thebish wrote:here's a new one...
meanwhile... (a bidding war would be nice)Bolton boss Owen Coyle wants to repeat his wonder workings with Jack Wilshere, with another Arsenal player.
Carlos Vela has heavily been linked with a temporary move away from the Emirates across the festive period, and Coyle would love to bring the Mexican to the Reebok Stadium on loan until the end of the season.
Arsenal are again lining up a move for Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill.
Cahill has been linked with a move to Chelsea this month.
But the Sunday Mirror says Arsenal once again are monitoring the availability of Bolton centre-back Cahill.
Bolton refused to listen to Arsenal’s overtures for the England star last summer, but if there’s any softening in Bolton’s positioning then the Gunners will pounce.
Alan Nixon wrote:Bolton boss Owen Coyle wants to take 21-year-old Mexico striker Carlos Vela on loan from Arsenal – and do a ‘Jack Wilshere’ with him.
Coyle is keen to take the out-of-favour Gunner and give him the games he needs and Arsene Wenger wants him to have.
Wilshere cut his teeth in the Reebok side’s midfield, making huge strides that led to him returning to the first team at the Emirates and pushing into the England set-up.
Coyle also wants to make a permanent swoop for Benfica’s Rodrigo Moreno, who has impressed since arriving on loan in August. Rodrigo, 19, only joined Benfica from Real Madrid in the summer in a £5million deal.
Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.

Don't think GG deserved that... And I'd be happy to see Vela in a white shirt, as I was Wilshere... Esp if we beat the mancs away and at home and he supplies a couple of goals... We are 7th, deservedly, we don't need to be upset by any other club's supporters. I reckon.Bruce Rioja wrote:
Is patrionisation a word? I watched your game against Birmingham yesterday. Johnson's tackle on Fabregas was absolutely textbook. Took the ball with stoods down. Your lot really are a bunch of absolute wankers!
Take your wimps and poke them up your ringpiece. We don't need to develop players for the likes of you! X

Has Vela ever had a shot which wasn't an attempted chip over the keeper?

Sounds like Danny Shittu is going to be on the move.Good solid centre half if a little short on pace, dangerous in both penalty areas.Could provide decent cover like and a last chance opportunity to pick up the fabled Mustapha Shittu hybrid club shirt.
Re: January transfer window...
I really don't know where Vela would fit into things. I've seen him play left wing and up front, all of which we have cover that is already on our pay roll.
Vela looked ace when he first appeared but he's not hit those heights since imho.

Second time this has happened on here. I think there should be a new thread entitled "Danny Shittu left Bolton Wanderers and joined Millwall on 20 October 2010."Whookam wrote:Have I missed something?Ianmooreslovechild wrote:Sounds like Danny Shittu is going to be on the move.Good solid centre half if a little short on pace, dangerous in both penalty areas.

Jesus.I must remember that irony doesn't work on the web.
There's talk of him going to Blackpool or one or 2 other clubs, possibly wolves.
Would be quite amusing to see him in the prem but I bet he'd play a blinder in at least one game and you can guess which it would be.

Re: January transfer window...
Silberbauer will hardly strengthen us. He is an honest player with a lot of heart, very versatile too - he can play both full back positions and all through midfield too, but he has relatively limited talent.
Would provide half decent cover, but wouldn't be first choice anywhere in our current team. Poor mans Phil Neville I guess, although slightly more attacking minded.

Re: January transfer window...
Someone's taking the piss here. Bentley sits on the bench for 3 seasons and somehow he is still worth the same amount as you overpaid for initially. Krancjar is valued at 9m. I think they only paid 2.5 m which was a steal but he hasn't played that regularly and is not worth that amount. Nice try Harry but doubt anyone is going to bite at those prices.Tottenham will let striker Robbie Keane, midfielder Niko Kranjcar and winger David Bentley leave the club but only if the trio fetch £29m in the transfer market.

Sounds like exactly what we need and are likely to pick up. We'd need money to improve on what we have in the 1st teamTrotski wrote:Silberbauer will hardly strengthen us.
