I find it great that the only picture that illustrates McNulty's blog is one of Davies sinking a penalty.
I also find it awesome that the BBC's match report of the Newcastle thumping features a lead image of the lads celebrating Elmander's goal at Wolves last week.

Tim Vickery is really good, he actually gives his opinion. However, his stuff doesn't seem to appear on the BBC site all that much these days.

Having said that, I can see it's there for this week. Perhaps I've not been looking hard enough.

He does the World Football phone-in on 5Live at about 2.30am Saturday morning most weeks. I think there are podcasts on the BBC website. Seems very knowledgeable and talks about some of the mechanics of the game, the stuff a lot of the mass media skips over.

If I'm awake at 2.30 on a Saturday morning, it means I'm out on the pop..
