Box at the Reebok.

Post by n035209 » Sat Jan 01, 2011 10:57 pm

Bit of a random one, but does anyone know anyone who has a box at the Reebok, I'm looking to rent one for my dads 50th, private rental rather than through the club.

I need it for the 5th March, which is Aston villa at home.

Does anyone know the maximum number of people that can go in a box on a match day?

Anyone with a box or information either email me, or leave a comment and I will get in touch

Thanks

James

Indeed. The club has undersold on corporate capacity this season and is advertising deals. How come you need a box? A nosebag in one of the suites with comfy seats on the halfway line are decent at the moment; so much so that my spars and I are thinking of taking a table for ten before the end of the season.
May the bridges I burn light your way

Yeah I love it in the lion of Vienna suite. Food and service still great just much more informal, also get a compare and or a speaker, and you get to mix with the other punters which often includes a few well known faces. Still have to sit with the scrubbers during the game tho!

Saying that, a box is frickin good fun too!

No Im not barred, it would be a present for my dads 50th, a box is better, if you get a private rental i can invite the family and you can take your own beer, im not after a sit down meal etc. I did it at man city away once with a group of mates it was a gd laugh and worked out cheaper than buying a ticket in the stand (but that was through a friend)

Can't see licensing laws letting that one slip...?

Licensing wouldn't be a problem. I'd be amazed if you didn't have to pay corkage though. Which will probably make it more expensive than just buying the stuff in situ.

Just can't imagine them letting 10 lads wander in with a 24 slab each under their arms!

I've never done it at the Reebok, so would need to ask the question, did it at city away and from what I remember you had to hand the booze over to the women who deals with that box and she gets the beer for you and if you have had enough she doesn't, think it was a case of tipping her, it was a great day as well, as we won with a last minute penalty converted by Gary speed, awesome.

Even if the bring your own booze aspect isn't possible still need a box. This wont be loads of lads, more of a family thing with small kids as well, 10-12 people ranging in age from 7 to 67.

any help welcomed.

Thanks
