Do we need to worry?
I suspect Aston Villa, Liverpool and Chelsea will all be looking for new managers in the not too distant future.
Ok Chelsea no chance.
But I could imagine Villa and Liverpool having our man on a shortlist at the very least.
Time to worry or is it too early for Owen to be thinking about moving on still?

No.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Too soon for him, still things to learn and prove. 12 months if he can carry on like this and then we can worry.

Coyle has already been linked in the media with Liverpool. Its not like a left field suggestion. And yes I'm obviously a Blackburn fan thats why I spend so much time on here being delirious, happy, frustrated and just plain depressed at different times by Boltons form.

The media link anyone who's looked decent for five minutes with Liverpool. Its what they do, as there are more of them to buy the papers. Coyle would be foolish to go to that nest of vipers just now.

You really could see the kids fretting outside the closed door to the living room on Christmas Day, whislt BWFCI speculated with them whether they'd been naughty or nice, ran through a few naughty moments just for effect and posed the question "Do you think he's been?".jaffka wrote:i think you need to get some uppers down your neck

If he goes, he goes. I'm more concerned about those that are currently a) staying b) knackered and c) seem to have forgotten where the back of the net is.

I expect he'd do up to 2 years here before moving on.He is ambitious but you get the impression he sees it as a learning process and he wants to achieve what he can quickly before moving to the next level.

No.
Too inexperienced for Chelsea and Wiggin and I think Big Sam has his eye on Villa.

If Coyle ever goes & Big Sam is still in management, I would have him back at the bok

Re: Do we need to worry?
Liverpool fans were on a phone in after the game against us, discussing managers and Coyle came up.
Consensus was that he hasn't enough experience yet for someone like "Liverpool Football Club" (you have to say it as one, proud, phrase. Not enough experience in top flight, big competitions, managing talented players and spending money.
That will likely go for Villa too, Everton I'm not so sure.

Re: Do we need to worry?
No about Coyle leaving, but yes over the teams recent performances as we seem to have lost our way after a wonderful November.
Over the last 7 games we have only won 2 and drawn one for a meagre 7 points. The next seven games will be the key to our season. Until recently we would have expected to get at least 12+ points from these coming games but now we will be lucky to get another 7 unless we can return to those barmy November days!
So yes I'm worried but not about Coyle leaving!

Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

which is what megson achieved over his entire stay - and kept us up... 1ppgFaninOz wrote: Over the last 7 games we have only won 2 and drawn one for a meagre 7 points.
coyles ppg for thios season so far is 1.36 - which is very respectable indeed
on that average we can expect to garner 9.5 points over the next 7 games.

Re: Do we need to worry?
If we get seven points over the next seven games we will have 37 points , thats a normal end of season total for us !!!
