Worthy of a place in the squad and does score the odd goal. Hope he's back soon

 blimey - we're thin enough as it is without further depleting the squad!

Injured, then couldn't break into the team, then came on against Sunderland, then Avi passed away. We are not in a strong enough squad position to get rid of him

He played against Burnley, looked alright. He's just not that good. Though we have to work on a one-in-one-out basis now.

Agreed, but

1) We need players to call shit.

2) The players on the bench should be at least as good as, if not better than the ones on the pitch.

We just wouldn't be footballing aficianados if it wasn't so.

I'd be suprised if he'd played anything like 42 full games for us. Nevertheless, 1 in 8 still makes him our midfielder most likely to score a goal (Holden is 1 in 11, Mavies is 1 in 16 and Muamba is 1 in 52).

So to conclude, he was cheap, won't be earning big wages, works hard, is content at being fourth choice, well liked, and has a better scoring record than any of our other midfielders.

He's perfectly fine to have as a member of the squad.

Like he said, certainly shouldn't be letting anyone go without having fresh players in.

I don't believe I said "full games" - he has actually played in a total of 49 games for us - 42 in the league and 7 in t'cups

4 of the cup games have been starts and 32 of the league games have been starts.

so - that's 36 full games and 13 partial games.

he scored against birmingham, portsmouth, liverpool (twice), and Villa. 5 goals in 42 league games - about one in 8.

He was doing my tits in a bit last season after September when he was our first choice centre mid.

He did score a few goals though.....suggesting his finishing isn't as bad as say his tackling.

Happy enough with him in the squad though, assuming he isn't on big money. And he's good at ping pong.

Blimey, and you complain Tango is overly sensitive.

I wasn't disagreeing with what you said, just adding my own point that a fair few of Tamir's appearances haven't lasted anything like 90 minutes. Not everything is an arguement.
