Aggressive tosser, but was outstanding in the 97-98 season with calls of England IIRC?

For about ten games near the start of the season, yeah.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I was at the infamous Chelsea game and the entire away end was chanting "Toddy for England!"

I once saw him and his mates get collared by a group of bouncers in a nightclub after the Ketsbaia 2-1 Newcastle game in 98. The bouncers were a little miffed that he and his mates went about kicking the bejaysus out of a fag machine in the club.
Strange, as I'd spoken to him at points throughout the night, and on occasions in bolton, and he was a chatty and friendly lad.

Very lucky not to be just about being considered for parole for the assault & GBH he imposed on the new Preston manager just after his dad left & Allardyce arrived.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Was he involved in the wolves brawl?
I dont think he was....cos I'm pretty sure everyone was walking afterwards!
Lordy that reminds me of a picture I had of Mad Gerry Taggart after that brawl, the phto had been taken just at the moment his fist connected with someones jaw

Nah, Taggart and Fairclough were at the back on that day, and the only player not involved was Bryan Small. Even Gaving Ward had a 70 yard chase on to give someone a smack.
I'm never one for fighting, but that whole day was one of the most satisfying day a Bolton fan could ever have had. Everyone in that ground - absolutely everyone, including Lofty - was hell bent on displaying their disgust towards their opponents. Until Keith Curle banged in that volley into his own net, and we all just laughed.

No, year but one, 94-95. Jiminho scoring a stunning volley (or half volley?) on the turn.
