I'm sorry??? Where's the sources and relevant links for Gardner having rejected our contract and gone?

Mail has us upping our offer for Kayal at Celtic to £4m.

And Mirror is saying Coyle is flying to Spain to speak to Thiago!

Best of luck to Gardner wherever he goes.

Been speaking to a few Celtic fans and they think Kayal won't be let go for less than 8 Mil.

Seemed a brilliant player from the very few games I saw of him last season. Very composed on the ball and can see a pass. My mate who regularly takes trips up to Celtic Park said he'd be in the Premier League next season. Hope we get him! Wouldn't risk £8m on him though.

Do we have 8Mil to risk tho  . I would love him to sign for us aswel. That goal he scored against Motherwell I think it was, was quality.

I'd be speechless if we got Thiago. He's the Spanish equivalent of Wilshere.
Not much point him flying to Spain though, when Thiago is currently in Denmark

Pointless discussing Thiago, it's all bollocks.

I'd thought most of the discussions in the transfer thread were all bollocks.

I bet his current club officials are in Spain though !

I'll believe it when I not only see the P, the S and the G but also him wandering around Horwich however

Hope we don't flog a dead horse on chasing these two midfielders, Kayam & Alcantara. Seemingly neither wants to leave their current clubs, the celtic guy just wants more money and the Barca lad could have his pick. Both seem dooooooooooomed to failure but kudos to OC for trying.

Apparantly Swansea are in for Marcos Senna, for a free I think that would be an excellent signing, wasn't that long ago he was keeping Fabregas out of the Spanish team

From what I remember of Marcos Senna, he's more of a Campo than a Holden; in that, he's very good in a midfield 3 where he can sit in the centre circle and spray passes around like buggery, but he doesn't really have the engine to play in a midfield 2...

I might be entirely wrong, no doubt avid observers of the Spanish league will have a more accurate impression...

That's a pretty fair summarisation of Marcos Senna

Reports today that Birmingham will let Roger Johnson leave.

I think he is a great defender and would love him at the Reebok but might have to compete with the likes of Spurs and Arsenal if OC was interested.

He's a good defender but they want like 10-14M for him, which is a ridiculous valuation. He's a fairly solid defender, but not much more. He's 28 and spent the majority of his career outside the Premier League.

Scott Dann was the real talent behind the defence- 10-14M for him would be fair- I imagine he'll end up at a top four club.

Johnson will end up at a mid-table club, good consistant defender, unfortunately way overpriced.

8Mil for someone that scored 4 goals last season? Ridiculous. I'd say 8Mil for Johnson alright.

Anyway I don't think we'll be interested but I do think we need a really good CB if Cahill goes.
