Will Eaves be given a chance this season, Riviman? Is he any good on Football Manager?

He could be set for a place on the bench on occasions I'm not sure he ready for first team football just yet. That said he did make great strides (literally !!) last season and in the second half of the season he was a regular goal scorer. At the moment he's our 3rd (4th if you include Blake) choice striker which is quite frightening.
Can't comment about the " Is he any good on Football Manager?" I have never played the game.

Perhaps Rodrigo has. But he said he didn't want to move here last season too.....I wouldn't necessarily take what players say to the Portuguese press as gospel. But either way can't say I'm that arsed! Though it would be a bit of a kick in the teeth to the whole "any young player wants to come and play for Owen Coyle cos he's just so mint" stuff we keep hearing!

Bolton chief takes a flyer on Spanish starlet

Bolton boss Owen Coyle is ready to clinch a deal for Spanish starlet Rodrigo Moreno – after chairman Phil Gartside flew out for a summit meeting with his club, Benfica.

Coyle has been trying to bring exciting attacker Moreno back to the Reebok, but the Portuguese giants were reluctant to part with the Under-20 international.

However, Gartside travelled to Lisbon to meet Benfica officials face to face and is hopeful that he has now secured the youngster as Coyle’s second signing.

Bolton want to agree terms that would see Moreno come back to them on loan, but with a view to a permanent £3.4 million switch.

I had my doubts about this first time it was reported. But I'd actually him back. Coyle must think he is good enough, he's seen him day in, day out in training after all.

He continues to play Taylor and he sees him day in and day out so that judgement is shit

Like it's been said, Rodrigo was one of the best players on the park when I went down to Stamford Bridge around Christmas. He has an enormous amount of talent of potential. He did reasonably well last season considering he's a 19 year STRIKER who was played out of position, first year in England and couldn't speak the language.

Yes, Petrov. even thought he didn't perform every game, he did perform. Matty Taylor has been useless for the last 2 years at Bolton, can't beat a man, can't run, can't do nothing. Sell him !

I think he's already been over. Perhaps he went earlier in the week, agreed a deal in principle with Benfica. They then put it to the player and he said he'd prefer to stay there?

Who knows? As people have said Rodrigo said similar last year then pitched up here.

I don't think it matters that much either way, as long as we weren't banking on him to play up front, and if we were we were fooked anyhow!
