If BWFC ceased to exist who would you support?

Would've had to have been Horwich RMI, together with the slope @ Grundy Hill. But as I can't get excited with the switch to Leigh, a switch over to the blue side of Mcr for me, joining the missus & 1st sprog. (I'm slightly envious if I'm honest, of the quality retro stuff they do in the supporters shop, that I have to buy their Crimbo presents from ).

I'd give up bothering about football. Bolton or nobody.

Do you ever go mate? I'm good mates with a couple of lads there.. Played with Josh Ford, Steve Smith, Tom Wareing.

Was too far for me to travel.

That would explain the Megson stuff then.

Unfortunately only just moved up here so not been to a game yet. I will be there on Saturday because I can't get to the Toon game.

Perhaps the question should be "Who would you support if BWFC had never existed?", and it'd probably be Bury or somesuch.

Alternatively, I might have become a Rugby fan and supported Salford.
I'm in this camp, sort of. I used to watch Swinton RL home and away, until they moved out of Swinton. Then I just stopped watching, other than the occasional game - internationals mainly.

Next season I'm thinking of buying a season ticket for Enfield Town FC. They are moving into the refurbished Queen Elizabeth II stadium which is an athletics stadium, so there is a running track around it (a track I currently use with my club).

As you can see from the photo's it's going to be quite a nice little ground with the Grade II listed building for the clubhouse.

It's got to be said that a running track around the pitch when you're watching with a 60,000 crowd is pretty good. Watching a match when you're in a crowd of 60, though? Wrap up. I've had experience of coaching a team that played at Copthall Stadium in Barnet. It was so windy that the temporary dug outs fell over three times, and our fans said it was the single least satisfying win they'd ever watched, and it was a cracking performance.

It's 5 minutes walk from my house. If it gets cold I'll pop home at half time for a brew.

Sophisticated? I bet some of those poor buggers flying home from Tripoli land at Gatwick and ask to be taken back!

Probably none. My Grandad was from Salford and thus a Man U supporter. He was my introduction to English Football, and I still didn't become a Man U supporter so if Bolton didn't exist I would have happily gone on simply hating all the top teams and cheering for underdogs.

I'd encourage Abramovich to sack off Chelsea and sink millions into Breightmet United.......

Its only round the corner so walking to matches would be brilliant......
