As far as i know Gavin retired at the end of last season. Well i can only go off a tweet that Kevin Davies made.

We gave him the opportunity to get back to fitness but he couldn't manage it. Unlucky ending to a career he can be proud of I guess.

Haha! I had to check the semi wasn't two-legged then! We shall see.....!

But I'm sure we will see you next season, and I think I may like you a bit more then as hopefully Young will have f*cked off to warm the bench at a "bigger" club.

On that note, what hapenned to sean davis? He's another central midfielder we signed that was a regular for their previous team.

Dont start me on the young subject. Very over rated. Good player on his day which are very few and far between.Moans more than my old lady and falls over a lot.Not all villa fans like him or the way he plays.

I was hoping Sean Davis could have some sort of impact this season.. He was looking alright early pre-season.

I also recall we were collectively shite for the majority. So were they. It was a shite game. I don't see it as a stellar performance. A goal, yes.
