Tickets bought for this, hopefully a better performance than the last two games.

Two sides who look shit at the moment. They haven't got any forwards...if Sturridge is fit I think we'll win this. Won't be pretty.

We need the win.

Just so this season's good work isn't wasted in the last half dozen games.

indeed - Everton have not capitalised - so we are still within 2pts of them

Agreed - I'll be dissappointed if our points tally for the season doesn't start with a 5.

Our lot looked very tired on Saturday. Id be really disappointed if we let a season of hard work slip into a mediocre 9th place, all because Coyle wanted to see the season out with Rico, Bogdan, Alonso, Moreno etc.
French centre-back currently without club, will consider any role. Experienced plumber.

9th is not mediocre. Bloody hell if Sunderland beat us there is a chance we could finish 14th which would be the same as last year. That would be mediocre.

Don't expect it to happen though. Hopefully Sturridge is back for Saturday and Sunderlands' lack of any recognised striker continues.

I predicted we'd finish 9th this year. Very respectable.

We're good at home, we'll win and I reckon we could score a few.

If we're going to win any of our remaining fixtures it's this one.

I'd be very shocked at a defeat. Coyle needs to play a full strength team and stop dicking around with giving Gardner, Rodrigo & Cohen a chance. Once again, it all depends on Sturridge's fitness. Maybe Stu Holden can play on crutches? He'd do a better job in Midfield than those two on Saturday.

I wouldn't mind a shot on goal

Michael Cox -
Bolton were similarly impotent at Fulham in midweek – where they did not record a shot on target in the second half – so have played 135 minutes without testing the opposition keeper.

If Sturridge is still out, Gardner's out and Alonso is left out then that could mean one or two reserves coming onto the bench.

Connolly and Obadeyi both travelled to Blackburn on Saturday. Can see at least one of them making the bench versus Sunderland.
