Ridiculous. Whichever goal wins will only be the second best of the decade thenLiOC wrote:Only Premier League goals, according to twitter.Lofthouse Lower wrote:No JJ vs Villa?!?!?!

Re: Goal of the Decade
Pedersen v Arsenal. An absolutely stunning strike of the football doesn't make the list yet his fluker against Newcastle somehow does?

May the bridges I burn light your way

Easily.
By a mile.
If you voted otherwise you voted wrong!

Its an AV vote though. SKD vs SUFC will win.

Re: Goal of the Decade
This season's best individual goal is Elmander at Wolves.
Most satisfying, for me, on several levels, Cohen v Arse...

Re: Goal of the Decade
Youri Djorkaeff v Charlton gets my vote. Outside of the league id say either Vaz Te vs Guimaraes or Okocha vs Villla
French centre-back currently without club, will consider any role. Experienced plumber.

Okocha vs Spam, for oh, so many reasons, the very least of which is the fact that it was among the very best individual efforts we've ever seen at the 'Bok. Think about what it meant - for that season, and for every season since. EVERYTHING hinged on Jay Jay "So Good They Named Him Twice" Okocha sticking that one in.

How do you judge it? Impossible really...
Best Team goal...Mark Davies vs Blackpool
Best Individual goal...Elmander vs Wolves
Most significant goal...Jay Jay vs West Ham
Most joy inducing goal...Ricketts vs Man Utd
There are still some other crackers in there as well. Anelka v Arsenal for one!

spot on this
you can't take the moment out of context

Re: Goal of the Decade
Id forgotten about a couple of those - Davies against Sheffield United especially. Id have put Holden's goal against Blackburn in over that but I suppose they didnt want so many from the same season.
Was good to relive some of those moments. Hard not to take into account the feeling around the stadium and the importance of Frandsen's goal against Middlesbrough as well, even the camera was shaking!
Struggling to decide, Nolan's goal against Blackburn was brilliant but ultimately meant nothing. The free kicks were great, Youri's overhead kick summed up everything about him - but I think Okocha v West Ham will win the vote

That's where my vote went. It was the only one that still brought a little bit of moisture to my eye as I watched itP.O.S. wrote:.....I think Okocha v West Ham will win the vote

Re: Goal of the Decade
Davies vs Sheff Utd would do well to make the top 20 goals of this season. If they felt that sorry for Big Kev, they should've included the excellent team goal against Spurs at home last season.
Okocha vs West Ham is the only real answer I think.
