Cahill vs Petrov

Post by BWFC_Insane » Fri Sep 02, 2011 9:20 am

Could be on tonight....

So are we supporting England, OR just hoping both our lads play, have good games, and don't get injured?

The latter for me. Hope Cahill gets a game, will help us when contract talks begin. Hopefully he'll go with him and not Phil Jones. Wouldn't surprise me if Jones is straight in now he's at the red filth!

Probably, though the papers are suggesting Cahill will get the nod.

Meh.

Think we all know who will play.....otherwise it reinforces the "being treated like shit" theory if not.

Think Cahill will play, myself. He might not have moved to a fashionable club, but at least there were verified bids from Arsenal and Spurs.

That will re-assure Capello, I reckon.

I've read this three times and can't work out how you think him STAYING at Bolton will impress a manager who has shown over and over that it completely depends on who you play for in order to get in his England team??

... reports today say that the England pick will be "some consolation" to GC for not moving to a bigger club.

Now,I know what they mean, but fck, could they be any more condescending ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

They'll probably pat him on the head.

It'll be Lescott and Terry at the back.

Personally I think Jones is miles better than Cahill. If I was picking one or the other I know who I'd go with.

Still, I hope Gary gets the nod (and doesn't get injured!)

Jones probably will be better, but at this present time he's nowhere near

I usually enjoy an England away backs-against-the-wall-in-Eastern-Europe qualifier so hope this one is a good watch too

The papers though are Wenger-bashing, and it serves their greater motives if Cahill gets a game

If he plays, either a good or poor performance will lead to 'I told you so'.
