Bolton vs Chelsea

Post by BWFC_Insane » Mon Sep 26, 2011 12:36 pm

Ok may as well.....

I have a funny feeling we might get something out of this, don't know why just an early feeling! Law of averages we have to take something off Chelsea at some point....

Suspect Holden will play, Cahill should be reet and hopefully NGog will recover.

Chelsea play Champs league on Wednesday and won't have Torres.

Perhaps just wishful thinking but hey we need to cling onto what we can right now!

Holden will give us the lift we need. N'gog to score a brace in a 2-1 win (cos we always concede) COYW!!

Do I sense blind optimism? That certainly is a welcome breath of fresh air.
However, you're wrong.
They're going to rip us a new bumhole. 5 maybe even 6-0 to Chelsea.

They're just trying to build us up to fail.

We've played sh*t against Chelsea at home for years. That will continue this weekend.

We have lost the last 8 matches at home:

0-4
0-4
0-2
0-1
0-1
0-2
0-2
0-2

That is 18 goals without a single reply.

I think I will go for a 2-1 home win.

Oh do feck off.

Yeah that's what I'm doing building us up to fail. Cos I really enjoy the crushing sense of disappointment and ruined weekends and weeks that follow. Yeah and I'd suffer that just so I can make a point.

From that list above my 'law of averages' makes it 0-3. On the basis Zat Knights playing I'll give them a goal headstart...standard 0-4 then.

I predict that we'll play really well, then make one mistake at the back and lose 1-0.

Sammy Lee-esque.

A tender spot been poked... I sympathise... but his lordship almost certainly has it right...

We will get stuffed by chelsea and I'm way, way sick of it. If we could have it over with tomorrow I'd say yes please then get onto the rest of the season in the hope that our team spirit has not totally shrivelled and died...

There's no doubt everything points to yet another Chelsea win. LK is right (god that hurt), we have been shit against Chelsea, no more so than last year's dismal effort on a very special day for the club.

This is a no risk game with a miniscule outside chance for massive reward. Hundred percent effort required from the players and Coyle has to make some decent selection/formation decisions. The fans will respect that and get behind the lads, and should the unthinkable happen the Reebok will be rocking and our position in league won't look that bad.

It cost nothing to dream so I'm quids in.
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.
Poor man last, rich man first.

Suggesting Chelsea will win is a purely rational thought, all I said was 'I had a feeling'. My brain of course says Chelsea will win, but you know sometimes football will find a way!
