Do we have to do this already?

3–0 to the Wanderers. The wrong Wanderers.

Doesn't fecking matter. Down anyway. 8-0 win. Followed by a 9-0 defeat the week after as Coyle takes Jussi off for an extra striker after 8 mins.

Perhaps, but a win on NYE coupled with a Wigan loss and a Wolves defeat tomorrow and we could be out of the relegation zone. Amazing if you consider how truly inept we've been so far.

The magnitude of this game for me was very dependent upon what happened today. Now its going to be a very cold and lonely place to be one NYE.

We'll bend over pre-lubed and let Wolves have their way with us. 3-0 to them. All three scored in or around the 70 minute mark.

Apparently Dickhead has branded this game as the biggest of the season. Prick says that every fcuking week.

Do I detect an undercurrent of moderate malcontent with the present Manager?

Predictions on any of our games may be achieved by a visit to Mystic Meg. Even she will claim it's just a prediction and the ether is very clouded so she's unsure if the spirits are friendly or angry. Play like we did Boxing day and a prediction is certainly there: A loss again.

Every single game from now until we get 10 points clear of the RZ (pffffft, yeah, f*cking right) is a cup final, and absolutely effing huge. Muamba HAS to play very 90 minutes from now until the end of the season. Might as well stick with Ngog and Klasnic up front, who both came into today's match more as it went on, as neither Davies nor Tuncay are adequate replacements. Unless anybody's scoring for fun in the reserves? Get Sam Ricketts at left back, and Steinsson at right back unless he's missing a leg or something. Wheater and Cahill at centre back. Midfield can stay as it started today. We HAVE to get three points. Anything else is not an option.

Maybe just a smidgen.

I sat today after their second goal, listening to the South stand singing that we are down with the Blackburn, looking at the North Stand Owen Coyle Super White Army banners and thinking how much more sensible the South Stand lot are.

None of our defence would get half as much stick if we didn't have so little posession of the ball. The amount of times we are shoved back into our own box is truly frightening. It always feels like it's just a matter of time before the opposition score. You sort of expect that against the top-enders, with us it happens against everybody.

It could be easily resolved, as I've stated in the past, with the simple application of clear instructions and defensive organisation within the midfield. In all honesty, it's gotten to the stage now where we HAVE to play 4-5-1. Start stifling games in the middle of the park with Reo-Coker and Muamba, get Mark Davies in there to give a bit of mobility, Petrov and Eagles on the flanks to provide service to Klasnic who is the only one of our strikers who ever looks like sticking the ball in the back of the net. Reo-Coker and Muamba need to be told who is covering which side of the pitch, and stick to it. They also need to be told not to venture further up the pitch than 2/3rds, whatever the situation. Our centre backs can then play deep, because they're not having to worry about the opposition being straight on them as soon as they get the ball. The deeper defensive midfielders can then give the full backs the freedom to go on the overlap every so often. Back to basic football. Clean sheets first and foremost, start picking up the odd point here and there, and for crying out loud, give the captain's armband to a proper leader who won't let us fall apart every time we concede a goal.

it'll probably be 0-0 til about 55 minutes then he'll try to 'champ man' it with 5 attackers , even though half the squad's injured and the bench is understrenth.

these 5 wont be up to it and it'll leave the rest under too much pressure, and they'll concede 3 within the next 12 minutes.

Eagles and Petrov for Klasnic? When have you ever seen Ivan score from a cross? Like in the air, which it'll have to be if he is up top on his self.

Eagles, Petrov, Mark Davies and Klasnic form a very potent attacking force on the ground, as we've seen vs Stoke. Admittedly, they don't get it right so often, but it's more dangerous than owt else we've got. Eagles tends to cut inside, Petrov can cut inside...it's a winner, trust me

5 goal thriller, ridiculously open, complete lottery as to who wins. It's one of the few games where the Coyle way can potentially work.Game of the season.

Resistable force vs Movable object.
so either 0-0 or 4-4 depending on the wind.
i;d play Pratley- he can run about a bit and this is about his standard- instesd of M. Davies who does a twinkle toed run every 20 mins or so and fewck all else.
4-5-1 for me N'Gog up top.
