Spurs v Bolton - rearranged game on Tues 27th March (7.30pm)
I noticed that there didn't appear to be any topics referring to this and so thought the details were worth posting.
Spurs have announced their ticketing arrangement with all original tickets, from last Saturday's abandoned fixture, being valid for the next game.
http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/spurs/N ... 10312.page" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;?
Bolton's website say's nothing yet, apart from details will be announced!
My reason for drawing attention to the Spurs site (I'm a Sunderland supporter) is that I would guess a number of your lads/lasses, at the original game, may well have purchased their tickets in the south (as we would have done) and it's worth noting what Spurs supporters must do (especially, if they have lost or destroyed their original tickets) because they would then have to do the same!
Best of luck on Tuesday and I hope Muamba continues to improve.

Anyone know what our arrangements are yet?

I have put in place a fiendishly complex plan to outflank the missus who is insisting that I attend the meeting that she and I are supposed to be convening on Tuesday night... hopefully I will triumph sometime early evening!!mummywhycantieatcrayons wrote:Anyone know what our arrangements are yet?

That way, you get to go to the game and possibly even better, she won't speak to you for a couple of days

Tell her the BWFC chaplain can't make it and you've been asked to step in.

cunning plan is to get all the other committee members to say I can go - then present her with the evidence! (she said I could go if everyone else agreed) They will be up for it as I got them all to pray for muamba on sunday - and I have tugged all the appropriate muamba heartstrings and I've nobbled two of them!Gooner Girl wrote:Whats the cunning plan? This is NOT a dig, at your support, because I would, genuinely have thought that you would have sold out ALL of your allocation (whatever that was) and SO, if you did that, how can the club (miraculously) have extra tickets to sell for, what I thought, was a "sell out" game?
I worried that someone may attempt to profit from what happened and my first suspect would have been The F.A.
With BWFC now, though, selling tickets can someone please explain why the focus of my distain should not, now, be switched to them?
The BWFC website is still stating:
"Bolton Wanderers can confirm that the FA Cup quarter-final tie against Tottenham Hotspur will be played on Tuesday 27 March.
The match will take place at White Hart Lane with kick-off at 7.30pm.
The game will be shown live on ESPN.
All ticketing details for the game will be announced shortly."
For such an important/emotive game I must say that I find that both disrespectful & pathetic!
The game is ONLY 5 days away!
If it was my club that, seemingly, had handled things so badly there would be uproar!

There is no attempt to profit. What makes you think we would have sold out? We didn't.Laeotaekhun wrote:I'm now confused!Annoyed Grunt wrote:On general sale.mummywhycantieatcrayons wrote:Anyone know what our arrangements are yet?

Can someone please tell me that I should not switch my attention to BWFC?
If you have a ticket already, you go again for free, if you don't you can buy one of our "spare" seats.

In which case there is NOT a problem - I just thought that you would have sold your allocation.LiOC wrote:There is no attempt to profit. What makes you think we would have sold out? As I said earlier, there was NO intended dig, at your supporters, if you did not.
What DOES surprise me is the amateurish way in which the BWFC website have handled the matter.
For me, that is inexcusable!

We barely ever sell our full allocation anywhere so was just surprised to hear someone say they thought we would have.Laeotaekhun wrote: In which case there is NOT a problem - I just thought that you would have sold your allocation.

I don't see what is amateurish about it though?

Would love to come and watch you beat spurs but £36 a ticket is a bit steep considering I'm not a supporter of either team!thebish wrote:cunning plan is to get all the other committee members to say I can go - then present her with the evidence! Really want to go to this (like I really wanted to go to the original game) but can't really afford it and would need to set off before I'd finish work.
