should be a splending last day full of a carnival atmosphere. right?

only thing i'm clinging to is we have genuinely done better on the road this year.

I'm looking forward to watching a team play over our midfield for 90 mins instead of through our midfield for 90 mins

For a team as weak at home as us Stoke away isn't as difficult a match as Tottenham or West Brom at home.

If Wheater can't play that's a big blow because Knight is obviously substandard but I still think we have a genuine chance of getting out of it.Certainly more hope than when we had to get a result at Chelsea under Todd.

At least our players have a week to rest. We looked knackered in the past couple of games but that shouldn't be an issue after a week without a game. Huge game though. Maybe I'm trying to be too optimistic, but the fact we need to win could be to our advantage. If we needed a draw, I think we'd play too negatively but in the position we're in now, at least we have to play for a win. We can't just sit back and allow them to dominate us, we need to get at them.

Sometimes when a person or team has their backs to the wall, that's when they perform. It's been that way for us several times this season and I hope it is again.

They should be relieved they didn't completely balls it up today and still have a chance.Even if we'd hung on we'd still be in the bottom 3.It would still have all been about Stoke. Now it means we have to win instead of draw.

Agree with most of the above, today was unacceptable.

...however I have more faith we can go to Stoke and get a win then I would have been with us needing a point and probably playing for a 0-0.
