As for optimism/pessimism, I don't know how we'll do next season. We could finish anywhere from 1st to 24th. Isn't that refreshing?

Blimey, I dont know whether to admire or scoff at some of the optimism on this thread. Am sure we'll finish above Peterboro, Millwall & Barnsley. No idea how we'll get on against t'others yet.

One thing I can guarantee - if we dont at least get into the play offs all those moNgalongs from Bury, Tranmere, Wolves etc that came on here when we went down will be back to this thread in a flash

yes. this. quite liberating to know we'll be playing in a competion where we can, you know, actually compete.
