I think we'll finish in the play-off spots or higher. We've only lost one key player in Reo-Coker, so we aren't in a bad position in terms of our squad. I'm optimistic and I think we've got a good chance of winning the league outright. My only worry is whether our squad is too small to handle such a long season but I think we'll be alright and the individual quality we have is better than what any other team has.

Bodgan, Mears/Riley, Knight/?, Ream, Ricketts, Chungy, Holden, Davies, Petrov, N'Gog, Sordell/Davies is the best team in the league, I think. Add a couple of loan signings and we'll be alright to get promoted.

Currently I think we might struggle without a change in manager...his capacity to learn/change concerns me.

Why didn't you say so before?

Finishing mid table in the championship next season is not an 'average season' it's a fecking unmitigated catastrophic disaster.

I suspect he's employing that new definition of average which seems to be as an adjective describing a level somewhat less than average. Possibly. Or not. :conf:

Seeing as your barometer would indicate that promotion is an average season, what would constitute as a fantastic season then?

Aye, to elaborate the jaffka barometer:

promotion = great season
mid table = average season
relegation = sh*te season

it sounds a little bit like BWFCi thinks we have some kind of divine right to be in the Barclay's Premier league...

I think mid-table would be well below par too.

Average would be in a play-off place

Good would be 1st/2nd

Fantastic would be promoted as Champions by Chrimbo + 2 Cup Final appearances
