Poignant and very touching last words from Nat there.

Fair enough, it's the families choice. But I'm gutted that it's not the FA Cup one. I'd be surprised if that had less than 90% of the votes.

Maybe that'd be more expensive to make..

Perhaps it wouldn't have worked as well as a statue?

Or maybe the family felt it might look as though in that case the statue was there to celebrate the success rather than Nat's life per se.....

He lead the team out of the tunnel a lot more than he lifted the cup....

Which one did you vote for then?

I like it. If they inscribe his last words on the pedestal too that'll do for me.

The other two images will still be cast and will do well as wall plaques. Quite looking forward to seeing it now. Is there a timescale?

I agree. More than likely we wouldn't be allowed to replicate the FA Cup itself?

I would have preferred him lifting the trophy, but the reason behind choosing the image is something very special, so I'm happy with it.

I wanted Nat the pit lad. Probably considered too dated today. :(

Hopefully we'll be a Premier league team again by that point.
