Definitely a winnable game. All depends how much we can contain Nottingham Forest in their own penalty area. Last night showed Kevin Davies still has the killer instinct inside the box but we all know age is taking its toll on his ability to get it into the box. Provided we can manage to get some sustained pressure we should win this but it was a tough ask at Burnley and Derby made us look average for large parts of last night. Hopefully we can build on what was a successful outing last night and get something good.

It made me really sad when the bus pulled up and it was nowhere near as busy as usual. doubt there was even 17k there to be honest. I've heard they count all the season tickets they have sold regardless of whether they are scanned in at the gate, not sure how true that it though.

You are spot on. They count every ticket sold (ST & matchday tickets) regardless of if they've turned up or not.

A good indication is that I know of 5 season ticket holders who can't go on Friday, albeit a mate and I will be using two of them.

Last night reassured me that, regardless of how well Burnley played on Saturday, there are going to be some seriously poor sides in the league next year and they're not exactly going to take the game to us at the Reebok.

N'Gog in for Sordell if available, 2-1 Bolton win. I'd prefer to drop Mears, stick Ricketts at right back and bring in Alonso but can't blame Coyle if he largely sticks to a winning side.

Afobe will work much better as an impact player from the bench judging by pre season, especially if we can give him a chance to stretch his legs a bit.

I think Sordell and Afobe could make a great partnership if we play the ball on the ground. Afobe's a strong lad, and can hold the ball up, Sordell links up well with the wingers. They've both got the pace to worry defences.

Was toying with the idea of getting a ST last season, this season with all the midweek games it'd not be worth it because I'd only be able to make the weekend games.

If Forest game is on TV I'll have to watch it at the pub, might drag other half along for a treat.
