One day, you'll understand why you get rather less diamond's than bricks for the same money.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:This thread is officially inferior. I'm off to bed and it is only page 97. I think Dan should start the next one...Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:If this thread doesn't reach 100 pages by the time I go to bed tonight I shall consider it inferior to it's predecessor.
This is the class thread. It had no aspirations to be the longest thread.

Another classic Stoke fan moment there when some bellend tried to flash his nipples behind the reporter on SSN. Thanks to him for a bit of light relief. (actually I should probably rephrase that!)

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
As I noted on Twitter earlier, outside QPR a fat bloke tried to show off his hand-written T-shirt saying (I presume) "WE BEAT THE SCUM 1-0". But he stood too far to the left, slightly off-camera, so all you could see was "EAT CUM"...LeverEnd wrote:Another classic Stoke fan moment there when some bellend tried to flash his nipples behind the reporter on SSN. From Mr. Iles:
To confirm. Both players in the bag. Well done Mr Marland - completed with a good hour to spare. Time for a pint!

Yipppeee! Wanderers due to announce De Ridder loan very soon on the official website. Medo to follow, although he'll be subject to international clearance.

That were quick.
"Prior to his spell with the south coast club, De Ridder – which translates to ‘The Knight’ – plied his trade in the Netherlands with De Graafschap over a three-year period."

Internet sez that Zatyiah (his full forename) means The Truth, which could be his rap alter ego. An alternative is that it comes from the Hebrew for olive tree. Insert "rooted" jokes hereafter.officer_dibble wrote:Narr its ok cos 'Zat' translates to 'Midget in a giants body'
Southampton fan tells me not to expect much from De Ridder, despite the obligatory impressive YouTube clipreel (he was De Graafschap's player of the season for 2010/11). De Ridder played seven times for Saints, but only started two and only two of his five sub appearances came before the 80th minute, so it's hard to say. Best of luck to him, and let's hope he turns out less of a Fabrice Fernandes and more of a David Lee... (relatively speaking)

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
Official BWFC twitter: Bolton have added midfielder Mohamed Kamara to their ranks after agreeing a deal with Partizan Belgrade, subject to international clearance. The Sierra Leone international, commonly known as Medo, joins for an undisclosed fee and has signed a three-and-a-half year contract. #BWFC
