Best transfer window evening for a fair old while. Get that international clearance for Medo through and it's looking really good.

So three permanents in, C Davies, Bolger and Kamara.
In for well under a million quid.
And folk were asking what Dougie could do with 500K!

BBC Radio 5 live - BBC Radio 5 liveFormer Bolton manager Owen Coyle: "For me, middle to front Aston Villa have effective players. But they need to defend set-pieces and shut up shop to give themselves the platform to win games...
So not leak two goals a games then Owen?

I'm glad everything turned out well. Welcome, Medo. Is No.4 available for him? Can't remember who took it after Robinson.

I didn't believe we'd get a player with that pedigree. You are THE MAN Toni!!Toni_DelijeSever wrote:I'm glad everything turned out well. Welcome, Medo. Is No.4 available for him? Can't remember who took it after Robinson.

Aye, we have an option on Gregus too though?BWFC_Insane wrote:So three permanents in, C Davies, Bolger and Kamara.

Did we end up with the two other loanees for 1 month? Never been able to fathom that one, unless they're emergency injury cover, which neither of those two seem to be,
Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
Not sure if its been posted elsewhere but from a very reliable source Afobe has been sent packing back to Arsenal. He was garbage - will end up at Brentford or Leyton Orient etc. in a couple of years time.

Are they any good then? Go on!BWFC_Insane wrote:So three permanents in, C Davies, Bolger and Kamara.

And who was asking what Freedman could do with £500K?
Come on then, what has he done other than signed some footballers.
You're assuming that they're all brilliant, no?

You should get an honarary "Nixon" in a proper award ceremony for that one mate.Toni_DelijeSever wrote:I'm glad everything turned out well. Welcome, Medo. Is No.4 available for him? Can't remember who took it after Robinson.

I think Dawson is till April or something and De Ridder for a month. But loans can be extended.Worthy4England wrote:Aye, we have an option on Gregus too though?BWFC_Insane wrote:So three permanents in, C Davies, Bolger and Kamara.

Presumably their clubs wanted shorter term loans initially.

Matt Mills, isn't it? Anyway, thanks for the info Toni, let's hope Medo is a cracker!Toni_DelijeSever wrote:I'm glad everything turned out well. Welcome, Medo. Is No.4 available for him? Can't remember who took it after Robinson.
(Is it pronounced as in 'meadow' or to rhyme with, er, 'paedo'? Given he's called Mohamed, I'm going with the former...)

I have no idea, but presumably Dougie thinks they are hence him signing them.Bruce Rioja wrote:Are they any good? Go on!BWFC_Insane wrote:So three permanents in, C Davies, Bolger and Kamara.

And my point was 3 players for under a million, shows you can work on a tight budget and still bring players in. We shall see how good they are. If this Kamara guy is even half as good as we are led to believe by Dougie and earlier media reports then it sounds a steal, no?

Smokin' Frazier earlier on today, although it feels like the middle of last week. Was during a conversation about whether or not selling Alonso made any sense.Bruce Rioja wrote:who was asking what Freedman could do with £500K?

Obviously Freedman's a cut price cure for cancer, no, a veritable panacea according to BOLX_Insane.seanworth wrote:I'm also curious although not quite as aggressively as Bruce here.Bruce Rioja wrote:Are they any good? Go on!BWFC_Insane wrote:So three permanents in, C Davies, Bolger and Kamara.
