Bristol at home isnt it. That should work well enough especially with the sudden throwing of cards in the air re the future. Still not sure about Mills and to some extent thats a 433 for what you get from Eagles and Petrov when we dont have the ball.

Mark Davies brought in for Petrov (and Eagles wide) against better sides with good right wingers. Look at Riley at some point. Send Boggers out on loan somewhere where he can be brought back quickly. Practice defending. Once they had hold of it comfortably, back four drop off and let them have it in their own half. Be tough to play through. Stop, STOP aimlessly twatting it forward when there is no need. Good players there, enough to go on a run if organised, and coached by someone with a plan they all buy into.

Not convinced at all by Bogdan. Never have been. He's a could-be good but isn't yet for me. Certainly at the moment the back four don't seem to know what he is going to do.

Mears was better against Leeds. Coached properly I think he could be less shit. Big risk to throw Riley in there. I can see the logic of Ricketts-Mills-Knight-Warnock, but I'd rather have a bit more pace in the middle. Ream is a fail.

No N'Gog, no Bog-breath-Dan, maybe on Ream

defence ok, midfield also ok but you have to have Eagles with Davies, they'll get 60 goals between them in this league. N'Gog will get you...er..2 maybe 3 if he got a deflection to send the ball on target.

Yeah I'd be willing to drop Petrov for M Davies.
I think Ngog would be our best bet as a single striker. Given a decent run of games.
I don't know if Sordell would be much good as a lone striker.
I don't think KD can play continuously all season.

I like this. It is balanced, and contains the in-form players (using that term loosely of course). Maybe have Boggers in, I'm not anti him. But I'd be 'avin a word in Mr Eagles ear about not bothering to take the next penalty; I'd get Warnock practicing.

I like that though I would rotate LCY, Eagles, Petrov and Mavies on a regular basis to keep up energy and to well mix it up a bit.

Obviously, Mavies is not to be put on the cocking wing, though.

Would also probably start with Ngog, too.

They say goalkeeping is about confidence. Hoofing aside you can understand Bogdan might be drained of confidence. Not sure whether you'd want to drop him or put an arm round him, a fresh start with a solid back four/midfield.

Tell spearing to stay in front of the back four to break up play.
Eagles and Mavis are interchangeable both cant tackle but Eagles is a willing trier.
Tell the full backs to stay in position and not wander up the field (rigid back four)
The rigid back four gives licence to CYL and Petrov to bomb on with no defensive duties which the suck!
