Bristol City fan here

Post by BCFC_Mike » Fri Oct 19, 2012 11:06 pm

I come in piece!

I hear parking in the main car park at the stadium is manic and not worth the wait after the game, is this true?

Also, I am hearing a lot about 'over strict stewards'. We should have a decent following of about 1200 tomorrow and when we do bring decent numbers, we do like to get an atmosphere going. Not being allowed to stand during the game definitely puts a dampener on this part, so what is up with your stewards, lads?

See you tomorrow fellas, good luck (You won't need it.)

The away fans normally stand throughout the game no bother.

Just park on Middlebrook retail park, it's a breeze nowadays.

Parking isn't really that much of an issue anymore since we've been relegated

They were after the game too, all I could hear was sirens on the way back to the car. Idiots.

They're allowing "up to 3 hours" at Tesco now. Piece of piss
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Middlebrook was a breeze long before we got relegated tbf. Since they opened that exit next to Pizza Hut so you could turn right.

I always park on the retail park near Nando's. Never understood why people still paid the 6 quid or whatever it is on the 'official' car parks.

Always get in the corner by 'Game' but as near to the road as poss, and reverse park. Whoosh, straight out. and that's not pissing off early either.

Pretty simple really mate, your stewards ejected about 6 of fans all together for very silly and un-needed reasons. Then towards then end, 3 bald stewards (why are they all bald btw?!) tried chucking I'd say a 60 year old man out, for doing absolutely feck all wrong :?

A few of our lads jumped in to help the bloke, and that was about it. After the game... well the less said about that the better.

It actually reminded me a lot of those cov fans when they had that flag protesting about their owners, and stewards were getting tumbled down the steps.

Obviously frustration jumped in massively, and we have some poor refs week in week out, but feck me what was wrong with the man in the middle today? Absolute shocker on both sides really!

I did see some real class from your lot today, and you deserved all 3 points as for some odd reason we just sat back when we had a two goal lead. Take a bow Steven Davies for the overhead though ;)

Enjoyed my visit, shit atmosphere though as most seemed to sit, and your stewards ruined it big time for us.

Oh, and Kevin Davies - nice person.

It wouldn't have been half as bad between the two if we had a decent ref!

Are you Athers off FF.net BTW?

Oh, and Kevin Davies - tw*t.
Mike - some of your lot were coming the nice person oustide pre match

From my seat in the lower tier to the left I had a pretty good view of the in game entertainment

A good number walked in a bit late - after the first goal - and just started playing up

Wouldn't clear the gangway, wouldn't go to a seat...it was only ending one way after that

When we took the lead the piss taking was always going to start and the old cut throat gestures from your hard men was more than a little embarrassing

I fear repercussions

My expectation is the only repercussions will be from Bolton cyber warriors invading Bristol websites
