Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager
PPG comparison between Coyle and Dougie means feck all when the other teams in the league are consistently chalking up more points than we are. 4/5 of our regulars need feckin' off right away. Feck these bleep tests and cotton wool wraps. We need points and we need people to step up and improve us otherwise we'll continue our slide. I don't fancy sitting in a ground watching league 1 footballers for my £400

So in half of Dougie's games we've shown the form of the 3rd worst team in the league?BL3 wrote:Over the last 10 games only two teams have taken fewer ppg than us and neither of them is below us...
That's fvck in worrying, considering how fantastic people think he is.
There's no sugar coating it and looking for positives. We're STILL not keeping enough clean sheets and now we're not scoring enough. I'm struggling to take any positives from our league form and I'm also struggling to see how other people are.

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager
we'd probably score more if ngog and sordell and another forward played instead in a 451 .
its definately the scoring. the defence is 'near enough' for now.
ricketts2:homesickboogaloo cannot do it on his own

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager
People have faith in Freedman because he talks a good game. They are attracted to buzzwords like "sports science" and things like that. However, despite talking a good game, the results aren't proof that his tactics are working. Certain people quote every press conference, reacting like he's a mini-Mourinho and when it goes wrong, they blindly refuse to criticised him. When we win, it's because Freedman is great and when we lose, it's because the players are useless.boltonboris wrote:So in half of Dougie's games we've shown the form of the 3rd worst team in the league?BL3 wrote:Over the last 10 games only two teams have taken fewer ppg than us and neither of them is below us...

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager
That's the worrying thing. People keep quoting his 'ppg' over the course of his time in charge but the reality is that over the last ten of his 16 games in charge, we've taken less than a point per game.boltonboris wrote:So in half of Dougie's games we've shown the form of the 3rd worst team in the league?BL3 wrote:Over the last 10 games only two teams have taken fewer ppg than us and neither of them is below us...

Calm down.Worthy4England wrote:Yeah, we banged in 10 today without Kevin Davies starting.Wandering Willy wrote:He's .08 ppg better than Coyle.
Great that is.
I did - as I pointed out to postcode - say it wasn't good enough.
I was agreeing with you.
Since you mention him, the buffoon brought Kevin Davies on when we needed a goal.
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.
Poor man last, rich man first.

Never mind when super Duggie has had has long as Coyle, we''ll be reet!
The signs have been there for a while and dont rely on his journeymen signings to improve us

Bring in the Yorkie AB the footy will be shite but we will be alright. That rhymes.Worthy4England wrote:I think you might have said this last season too?Annoyed Grunt wrote:Can't see him paying off Coyle....then Freedman.BL3 wrote:Game in hand against Peterborough. Personally, don't think we'll get relegated..
I'm now officially worried.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Yes, I can clearly see the similarities between Manchester United in 1989 and Bolton Wanderers in 2013.Enoch wrote:*pointless image*

I can. A manager making far reaching changes behind the scenes at a club, not getting immediate results and being berated for it by impatient short-sighted fans. Then said changes kick in and club goes on an amazing run of success.Whookam wrote:Yes, I can clearly see the similarities between Manchester United in 1989 and Bolton Wanderers in 2013.Enoch wrote:*pointless image*
Not saying this will happen to Bolton under Dougie but I can see what he's trying to do (unlike his predecessors since Big Sam) and I like his confidence and honesty. Let's give him a chance.

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager
Facts are we can rate his early results or not, we can 'understand' what he's up to, or not ... but he ain't going to get the boot. Garty has always been over-loyal, if anything. It would take some doing ... or things behind the scene.
Even if you are someone who never wanted him in, suck it up coz it ain't changing anytime soon.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

That's the spirit Dougie. Bury your head in the sand.DOUGIE Freedman is not entertaining the thought that Wanderers could slide into a relegation battle in the Championship.
Businesswoman of the year.

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager
The difference is that Fergie had a track record of success before he took the Utd job. He'd won league titles, domestic and European cups at Aberdeen. If you're seriously saying that Freedman's record equates to that, you're talking bollocks.LeverEnd wrote:I can.
