I've heard somebody was told at the tickets office today that this will be the case.

Good luck to Dougie, I feel strangely giddy!

A big welcome to Dougie. Apologies to Palace fans - it's happened to us before, too.

Notable that Lennie Lawrence has stayed behind. Presumably DF is happy to slip into the coaching structure suggested by Bolton. I wonder what he has in mind for staff shopping... he may have some rebuilding to do. (Are Coyle's goalkeeping coach and chief scout still around?)

Can only see word of Sandy Stewart and Steve 'Interesting' Davis leaving with OC.

Probably best we don't poach the backroom staff after what happened with Coyle

For now. IIRC some of the Burnley staff took a few weeks to follow Coyle. And Chris Evans hung around here after Megson.

I'd not rule them out coming later....

What time does the bedsheet shop at the Trafford Centre shut? Could also do with nipping to B&Q for a pitchfork and torch..

True dat. I'm aware they don't all come at once. But I'm also aware of the noises emanating which seem to suggest we're not fer shipping in a coachload of Managers' Mates. Which kinda makes sense, considering the Academy's doing alright, Lee is a very respected coach and, well, What Happened Last Time.

Lawrence aside, does he have any regular sidekicks? I guess it's hard to say, considering his greenhornitudousness.

All fun...

It would be odd to leave them in temporary charge for a game if they knew they were going elsewhere in a couple of weeks to a club below them in the league.

Don't be surprised if Lennie Lawrence plays a daring 0-9-1 formation tonight ;)
