dougie freedman song
Anyone know what the words are to the dougie freedman song sung at the Blackpool away game?
Re: dougie freedman song
I don't, but I made up a Dougie chant.
I'm not going to say it though as it's a bit naff

Re: dougie freedman song
If they were singing anything other than
"One Dougie Freedman,
there's only 1 Dougie Freedman" etc etc or
Dougie,
Dougie Freedman (clap, clap, clap)
then I'll be amazed![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: dougie freedman song
If you're referring to the bouncy on it's the same as the Ryo song from last year...
First name is Dougie, Dougie, Dougie
Second name is Freedman, Freedman, Freedman
And thats the way we like him, like him, like him
In fact we f**king love him
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Thank you guys that is exactly the one
I had the tune in my head for days but I was making up my own words to go with it
I wasn't a million miles away but better to know what's actually being said.
Look forward to joining in at my next away game at Blackburn

Speechless.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: dougie freedman song
Funnily enough I was thinking about footballers and their songs this morning.
As I got ready for work Local Radio SnoozeFM was playing The Kinks (ask your dad) song 'Lola'. Everytime I hear this song I think back to when David Ginola signed for Newcastle. There was a story that ran for a couple of days on 5Live and GruntSport about how the Geordies had 'already worked a song out for the player' based on the 70's gender confusion hit.
Except they didn't and they couldn't becuase it doesn't fit. Try it.
If the BBC we're prepared to fall for and regurgitate this tosh then it's no wonder they're in the mess they are today.
Not every player deserves a song, not every song deserves a player. I always tell the kids 'Just because you CAN do something doesn't necessarily mean that you HAVE to.'
I wish someone would tell Heston Blumenthal that too.

I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

Speaking of which, a couple of lads behind us started with
"He's shit every week
He's shit every week,
Darren Pratley
He's shit every week"
As soon as he came on...

Were they the same dickheads who booed Andrews for passing backwards when under pressure mid-way through the second half?Loyal White wrote:Speaking of which, a couple of lads behind us started with

Seems like patient play and keeping the ball is going to be a hard sell to some Bolton fans.

There were 5,000 of them doing exactly that at the Leicester game.BWFC_Insane wrote:Were they the same dickheads who booed Andrews for passing backwards when under pressure mid-way through the second half?

It is very much a flavour of the month chant, but at least it's supporting the team rather than slagging someone else off.
Re: dougie freedman song
