Yep - and has my mob...Prufrock wrote:Aye, would be nice to say hello. PB has met you before, right?William the White wrote:Our lot are Q783-786... Give us a wave!Prufrock wrote:Verbals cannae make it. Crayons and I, row F, seat eight-hundred and something: how long are their stands?!
Anyway, yet to hear back from my Brighton mate, but I'm not fussed on Brighton or Lewes. Lewes sounds pretty good, but I think Tory-boy has family around Brighton and so might want a trip to the seaside. I'm easy.

Has to be the gayest thread title ever. Apt really.

Thank god i'm giving it a miss. Still, he won't actually look too out of place in Brighton. The seagulls fans won't bat an eyelidCAPSLOCK wrote:I'm wearing my pink arseless chaps

Re: Sussex by the sea!
Any suggestions for a starting 11 from those who manage to see the games. I have a feeling it may be something like what we used against cardiff given that Brighton like to play through midfield so Pratley might get in to close the back 4 down.Should Butterfield start ? Ngog at CH ?

Spearing, Andrews and Butterfield I reckon.

With Matt Mills right wing and Lonergan on the left.

My sister lives in Brighton. That doesn't necessarily determine my plans as I could stay with her Friday or Saturday night.Prufrock wrote:Verbals cannae make it. Crayons and I, row F, seat eight-hundred and something: how long are their stands?!

I'm sorry - I can't help but think of that mitchell and webb sketch where the hymn request comes from Sulky Abbot in Bumsex....

All right, well I'll get onto my Brighton mate to see if he is going. If he is, I'd probably favour going seeing him at some point either before or after. If not, from what I can tell Brighton and Lewes are both nice enough places, so I'd not be fussed either way. I will report.mummywhycantieatcrayons wrote:My sister lives in Brighton. Jeez. Enough of this puerile banter please. It's embarrassing in the 21st C.

Re: Sussex by the sea!
A heads-up for anybody who might be stopping overnight Saturday: the trains are a bit screwed towards London on the Sunday it seems, with a bus replacement to Three Bridges. You can however, if it fits your plans (as it does ours), go by train all the way from Shoreham-by-Sea on the way back (ticket permitting, the standard returns don't cover it I don't think).
Anyways, I do expect Freedman to employ his 'horses for courses' approach so yeah reckon we might see Spearing back. Perhaps an attacking mid to exploit on the break, but Dazza Prazza? Gawd knows, it's hard to tell at this point who he's made his mind up about.

I think he's made up his mind that Ngog is a winger... and that KD is ace....Dartisan wrote:A heads-up for anybody who might be stopping overnight Saturday: the trains are a bit screwed towards London on the Sunday it seems, with a bus replacement to Three Bridges.
