Biggest club in the North East: Sunderland Replay

Post by Relentless09 » Sun Jan 13, 2013 2:35 pm

Tuesday night at 7:45pm, anyone going to this ? Can't imagine a big turnout.

Hopefully we play a young team, would like to see Vela and Sordell start. Is there a possibility Holden could be on the bench ?

Sunderland had a good win against West Ham so confidence will be up.

4--1 to the Sunderland massive.

As in just that. Doubt they'll be welcoming Bolton or in any mood to lose. Twill be a tough one.

I'd like to see us play Vela, Holden, Craig Davies, Eaves and any other players returning from injury/bordering on the firm team. The starting 11 need to be shook up a bit.

Considering this will be played on a weeknight in the snow it does bring back memories

- Went up there in the snow for a 0-1 in a 12:30 kick off.

- Went up there on a weeknight versus a 'no win in 13' team for a 0-4 where we almost died when coach driver fell asleep on the way back.

Think I'll go to Nando's instead or something.

How did you come up with the conclusion I'm not interested in the cup ?

1. I started the topic, why would I start something I'm not interested in.
2. Realistically we aren't going to sell out our allocation for a Tuesday night in North East.
3. What's the point letting SKD start when he didn't even start the last game and no evidence to show he improved our performance, Sordell scored so give him more time.
4. Vela needs proper competitive game time so I'm INTERESTED to hear how he does.
5. Holden may make an appearance which also INTERSTS me as I want to hear how he's getting on.

Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

We'll lose 5-0. Think I might just pretend this match isn't happening and live in ignorant bliss.
