Your supporters

Post by seggamackem » Mon Jan 14, 2013 12:32 am

I must say why the negative stuff I've seen on here by some of your fans towards Sunderland?

Having saying that, been to loads of clubs in the Lancashire areas and by far Bolton's supporters are the least welcoming. Some have harped on about the catchment areas up here meaning the support up here should be much more than Bolton and most areas your way, but we're blighted with the same shitty Man U and Scouse glory supporters you lot must put up with.

Titanic sinking because it hit an iceberg is a myth. The truth is, there were rumours of a Sunderland match in America and the sheer number of their fans on the ship caused it to sink.

We have a history of some real morons from other teams on here. Amongst the worst was a chap called Walter, from your neck of the woods. He didn't endear your club to us in anyway. Anyone that want to come on here and have a proper debate about football then great. as it is, most come on to say what a big club they are. We couldn't give a toss about big clubs and who has the biggest changi g rooms etc.

Which sort of poster will you Be?

PS - welcome...for now

Aye, but you don't have the highest number of professional football clubs per capita than anywhere else in Europe.

See my sig. For what it's worth I've never had a problem with Mackens, great support wherever you go, and friendly enough when I've been to SOL. Swapped scarves last season with one Mackem before our game up there last year too.

Give over. Your catchment area isn't even remotely comparable to ours.

is he?

In truth, I suspect he is a fan from another club with some sort of warped agenda.

Anyway have you answered that question yet?

Sunderland used to have Mick McCarthy, maybe there's a soft spot there somewhere?

As for the Sunderland fan on here, we're probably less welcoming as the average Sunderland fan weighs about 25 stone and your weight on the roads causes potholes around the Reebok. You claim to have massive support, you do have massive support, quite literally. When you announce your 40,000 crowd or whatever it is, there's probably only half the number of people in the ground because you lot take up two seats, one seat for each bum cheek.

This is your typical Sunderland fan:

...and how's that 'changing my tune'? They have a bigger catchment area than us so their attendances are bigger than ours. Surely even someone of your limited intelligence can make that connection.

you are very confrontational for a no mark

One or two valid points here, and I admit there are some bellends on one or two of our own forums. But don't go assuming all our fans are like them.

Bolton were once a well supported club which our fans had great respect for, but doesn't seem to be the case as much now. A lot of Sunderland fans remember Phil Gartside saying "Why would or players leave Bolton for Sunderland?" Love to see him say as much now.

Like some of our sites, shame the decent few on here are overshadowed by the morons affecting it. Wonder if they are among the 65 who are coming up here tonight? Good on them for coming up on this crap weather

Those extra seats they put in make it look like there aren't many there!
