'Wheater and Holden managed 65 and 31 minutes respectively, with Holden substituted following a tackle with George Evans'

Can anyone shed any light on this? Hoping he was just taken off as a precaution.
Who's that coming up the hill boys,
The Wanderers are coming up the hill boys,
They all laugh at us, they all mock at us,
They all say our days are numbered,

Born to be a Wanderer, victorious are we....

Was on the wrong end of a bad tackle. Hurt his foot, but limped off without aid.

I guess that's good, in a way.

Rather precautions taken than any other route, anyway.

I will relax more once I get official confirmation that he's fine. Last thing he or the side needs right now is a broken bone in his foot.

Well they took his boot off. If they thought it was broken, I'd imagine they'd leave the boot on so they can x-ray... Any first aiders??

Agreed.
A key part of returning pscychologically from a long injury layoff is getting over a couple of minor strains and knocks without serious problems. Gives you confidence that your body can handle it again and takes away that fear that can hold you back a few percent performance-wise.

I was told his injury was "just a few cuts" so nothing to worry about

Still no official word from club nor a tweet from Stu.

Doesn't bode well IMO

Give over.

Salford Trotter knows members of the first team. If he says Holden is ok, then he's probably ok.

The text i received was from a first teamer but he has been wrong before when he said Vela's injury at Crawley wasn't serious so I share the info with a note of caution

'Someone' on Twitter said Stu played 90 minutes in a behind closed doors match today. Good news.

Kamara played and is apparently in contention for Saturday.
