Old Match Footage 1962-72

Hi All,

Does anyone know if there exists any old video footage of Bolton FC playing between 1962-72? I've found a couple of very brief clips on Youtube but that's about all. If anyone can help or point me in the right direction i'd be very grateful.

Have to say I've seen very little TV coverage of us in that era. Most clips from that time were on local news items, or later on, on the Kick Off show. It might be worth contacting Granada or BBC North West if they have any footage and if there is any possibility of you being able to digitally download it.

If you type 'Elton Welsby, you're a w4nk3r' into Google, you'll probably find something, as that was the soundtrack in the background of almost all of the Kick Off show matches............
