That Vydra guy is quality up front for them.. They're a good side by the looks of things, but get the impression they're less physical than most in the division. So this may be more of a football match than a battle field. In which case, I'd fancy us for a win.

Any one know of any decent boozers around the place? Me and pru (and maybe PB) will be in attendance for our demoralising defeat.

I was going to go down to this, but then someone reminded me that I'm watching Justin Moorhouse instead.
As such, I'll miss a magnificent 4-0 away victory and Justin Moorhouse will be rubbish.

Well, you're half way there already.Bruce Rioja wrote:I was going to go down to this, but then someone reminded me that I'm watching Justin Moorhouse instead.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Watford away
I rather struggled with myself (ooo-err, etc. etc.) on whether I was gonna go as I've splashed a lot of cash recently but... well it's one of the cheapest fixtures of the year for me as it costs me little to get there, so I've caved. Ticket bought, I'll be there!
I'll probably have a swift couple before the match but I've no idea on pubs that way, other than the whole Watford area looks pretty crappy to be honest.

Hmm, a quick scout suggests "the 'Odd Fellows' in Fearnley Street", on the way from the town to the ground if taking the 'Market Street' route.Dartisan wrote:I rather struggled with myself (ooo-err, etc. etc.) on whether I was gonna go as I've splashed a lot of cash recently but... well it's one of the cheapest fixtures of the year for me as it costs me little to get there, so I've caved. No, alcohol is the question, not the answer.
The answer is YES.

Watford lost at Bristol City tonight (2-0)
They could have gone second with a win. Hopefully we can give them back to back defeats. Need to keep that Vydra lad quiet.
Will go with 1-2.

Sean O'Driscoll needs to be careful. Relegation-battling managers who win two on the bounce inspire weird devotion in certain TW posters...ChrisC wrote:Watford lost at Bristol City tonight (2-0)

Wonder how long it'll take to get all these new er, pupils, up to fitness? Team prediction for Saturday's a bit of a lottery right now, or is it?.....
