Very good AT. But, after reading your article, I'm left just a little confused - who is this Terry and Rooney couple?

We were relatively successful under BSA when I was 1000's of miles away and it sounds quite similar to how I felt then. The only difference is that you get all the heart-warming accounts of the matches/players/managers to read on forums such as this whereas I hadn't discovered football forums at the time. Lucky you!
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

I'm not sure I'd describe it as lucky at the moment AW  It is a great lifeline though and Tango's commentary is a huge help.

Good read AT, The burden terrace memories have come back a little this season for me, I have started going to away matches, grounds like blackpool, sheff wed, crystal palace, watford, burnley. The atmosphere is getting better with every away game. Watching oc's team play was annoying to say the least, anyone who knows a little about football could see he had no idea and fans just turned away, relegation was inevitable. All the best on the beach ! If you get chance to visit blighty take an away game in, it just bring back that ''burnden roar''.

Cheers DW. I'm back in Blighty later this month. Unfortunately I'm on a whistle stop tour trying to keep everyone happy by visiting. I've no chance of getting to a game. It is costing a fortune, so I wont be back for a wee while. The airlines charge a lot more for a round trip starting here than from the UK. Total rip off :(
