I'm going. First game of the season. Would be delighted to witness a Holden appearance. Not got it in me to hope for a win.

Derby aren't a good side, so we should beat them. A win would leave us two points behind them, with a game in hand and at the moment, they're 9th. Interestingly, of the sides contending for play off spots, only Blackburn are in good form.

Assuming everyone is fit...

-------------Bogdan----------------
Mears - Wheater - Dawson - Ricketts
---CYL - Holden - Spearing - Eagles--
------Sordell - Craig Davies----------

Massive ask to throw Holden in. If he was in any way right he'd have been involved more in the first team by now. So I think that's probably a pipe dream.

And in a two up front, NGog must surely play with Craig Davies given the fact that NGog turned the game last week and set up the equaliser this!

I'm going, can't grumble at £20 a ticket.

2-1 Bolton, Dawson and Craig Davies.

Think it's cheaper to buy in advance than on the day for anyone not sorted yet btw.

Agreed, those two defintely look like they've got potential. I think CD might bring the best out of Ngog, especially if he leads the line and keeps scoring. Ngog will be better I think with someone scoring alongside him, he can be an excellent footballer with real vision but if you're relying on him for goals you're screwed. Without that expectation to be the main scorer he might find it easier to net a few. Spearing needs to get a grip of that young midfielder they've got, Hughes.
Anyway I had to decide bwteen this and Forest and I'm hopeful I made the right choice. 3-1 win, CDaviesx2, Dawson.

If over the next 2/3 games Ngog and CDavies strike up that game-changing partnership that we've been missing all season then we'll need to get Davide signed up on a longer term deal sharpish. I seem to recollect he only had a year left at the start of the season though will stand corrected if others know different

It's a year left at the end of this season I believe.
