Re: Away, Barnsley.
I'm looking forward to it. Hoping the tight arsed gits have invested in some street signs, last time I went I got lost and missed the entire first half. Can't remember much else other than that it was 2 all but i think both our goals were first half so I missed the buggers. Johansen scored maybe... anyone jog my memory?

I think somebody else said the away end holds 6000, and as the seats are unreserved, I'm strongly guessing that pay on the door will be OK. It better be, as I'm planning to do that.Salford Trotter wrote:It was so good you posted it twiceLeverEnd wrote:Scratch that, just remembered the invention of the sat nav and GPS.LeverEnd wrote:I'm looking forward to it. 3rd October 1998; both teams had dropped out of the top flight earlier that year. We were unbeaten in the first 13 games of the season and were third in the table, but starting that day we'd only win one of the next 10 and would slip to 13th.
Ashley Ward put them one up on nine minutes, Mad Arnie equalised on 21, Ickle Joey equalised on 42, Lever End arrived at half-time, Barnsley equalised on 85 through Robin van der Laan.
Our team: jussi, Cox, Bergsson, Todd, Phillips, Johansen, Jensen, Frandsen, Gardner, Gunnlaugsson, Blake. Subs Branagan, Strong, Taylor.

Re: Away, Barnsley.
Last time I got to Barnsley we were hammered 4 nil. Not a very good day out that
I will therefore take one for the team and stay away on Saturday.

Re: Away, Barnsley.
Won a good one, won a scruffy one, point being, won both. Nowt to stop us winning a hard-fought one either. Moral must be up, squad, Mark Davies apart, strong. We will win. Fact.

Personally, I can't imagine t' Sat Nav's reached there yet.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I've got a 100% record at Oakwell too. Been there twice, found it both times.
