Because unlike myself alot of you seem to think Bogdan is a dodgy keeper and one of you even said "the worst keeper we have had in 20 years" and things like "I can"t understand how he stil starts". I am not happy but I presumed quite alot of you would be pleased to see Lonergan in goal for a month

Anyone happy that we only have one experienced keeper, that seems to have not been a no1 keeper at a club for any length of time, for the next month would be a bit thick.

There is a difference between moaning about him and being happy he is injured. Anyway, if they are a bit thick they probably wouldn't know they have been insulted, not that they have been.

Being happy that any bolton player is injured is disrespectful to the club

i think Bogdan is a great keeper, hes still learning but hes much more improved from last season. Gutted hes out, he started to look quite confident, hopefully a rest will do him some good.

Dont worry too much about that Dan. All the players get it. Its just emotions of hurt when things are not going well. Its harmful but dont let it get to you.

IMO Lonergan did a decent job Saturday. Could well get his feet under the table and get the nod over Bogdan, when he is fit again, if he carries on in the same manner over the next few games .

In fairness, had he not suffered a serious injury he would almost certainly have been Preston's first choice for six years or more. With 240 odd starts, he's not exactly the perennial bench warmer that Rob Lainton appears to be.

Hopefully Bogdan's injury is as innocuous as has been suggested, even if he needs to sit on the bench for a while and give up goal kicking duties in the event he's called upon.

Bit harsh on Lainton, he's only 23 (nowt for a keeper) and has had some injury problems. He could probably use a loan spell down the divisions at a club who need help - Morecambe had their goalkeeper sent off on Saturday – but maybe not just at the mo when there's a bench to warm

Yep it is harsh. Didn't he break his shoulder or somesuch? Pretty serious injury for a keeper IIRC?
