Ebanks-Blake (27) has a broken leg and will be out till October, missing The Freedman Pre-Season. Before the break, he scored 14 league goals in 2681 minutes last term - one every 191.5 minutes
Fair do's DSB

I must of been thinking of previous season's, I've. Seen him play loads of time for Argyle and he was shit hot

Also didn't revise he was injured

Sees himself as some kind of hard case.

Johnson was talked up at Brum as being better than Cahill. Not fit to lace his boots.

O'Hara is an enigma. He obviously has talent but doesn't seem to think he has to work hard to apply it. I'm not sure he ever wanted to leave London and the bright lights. Palace or Rednapp should suit him better.
Bang on there, on all counts. Ward I know nowt about, but that lot are all tainted with the stench of defeat and poor attitude. Avoid, avoid, avoid

Stephen Ward is decent enough, have seen him a bit for Ireland, can be prone to the odd costly mistake.
Not surprising considering he has been converted to left back from a striker.
Could be a useful utility man as he can play left back, left mid and up front at a push.
Would hope we have a better left full back in Tierney.

It's a sad state of affairs that, despite robbing a living for two years on big wages, both O'Hara and Johnson will probably have no trouble getting a move to a Championship (or even a lower down Premier League) side.

The other two I think are limited triers, but I wouldn't want either of them either.

Beckford will do for me. Gets goals. And when he is out of form there are others to use.

I see him as a signing to get us up there, not keep for years.

Alan Nixon ‏@reluctantnicko Protected account 47m
@DisAddress Beckford will get done. Big money striker target still on boil.

Fair few fans have asked whether the big money striker is Charlie Austin and Nixon is ignoring them, fueling that it could well be him

Probably bollocks of course but hey it's a bullshit transfer thread 8)

If thats the case with Beckford in, I can see Ngog being sold to fund the "big money striker".

Didn't Norwich have something like £7m turned down for Hooper in January? I can't imagine it being him

Contract has less than a year left now. Figures of 4-5M being spoken about.

But he fancies himself, doesn't he. More likely to look out for a Premiership club I'd expect.

My money's on Anelka !!!

Ah right that makes more sense, I think he'll be going to someone better than ourselves though

Hooper will have options in the Prem. Hull have been sniffing around

Only reason Austin would come to us would be for a pay rise and cos he cant face the thought of leaving the North West. Again, I expect a lower Premiership team to take a punt on him.

For me, we're no longer shopping in this kind of store

A gentleman on Twitterrerererreer is suggesting that a bid of £5m+ is needed to get this 'star striker', Nixon says "It would have to be".

I'll go Rhodes or Austin and by Austin I mean Steve Austin, the Six Million Dollar man! :)
Pfffft.
