I thought the feeling was that he was woefully off the pace at Wednesday though?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Well, firsstly .... good."... with a new contract now a formality ... “The contract is at the final stages. I’ve had a good conversation with the gaffer and with the chairman that essentially agreed on everything. I just need to put pen to paper now.
The loan got in the way of things a bit with all the commuting, the training and the games, so at this point it’s just a point of finalising details".
But secondly ..... what a pile of old bollox. I've opened, and closed, businesses quicker than this. He lives in Manchester and works in Bolton/Euxton... or Sheffield. It's hardly Timbuktu is it ?
This Dougie, Phil, Stuart is a pen ...

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

A pen .... apparently you "put them to paper", except, it seems, in Sheffield.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:what the blithering crins is that thing? ^

What you worried about though? Stu will sign and be here next season. There are bigger things going on this season. And this is from someone who is normall very worried when things aren't signed off and officially announced.
But this is one that will just happen, no worries.

I heard the opposite. When he played, the general consensus on twitter (yes, I know) was that they were extremely impressed. Enough so, for their manager to say he'd love to keep him.Lord Kangana wrote:I thought the feeling was that he was woefully off the pace at Wednesday though?

I think their fans felt he was technically good but woefully off the pace and not properly match fit. Which is to be expected at this stage.boltonboris wrote:I heard the opposite. Re: STU-SA
As we only really have Vela and Holden for CM positions I'm glad he's back and he could play a big part for us

I never saw anything like that. Is the "woefully" bit, not a case of BWFC_I hyperbole?BWFC_Insane wrote:I think their fans felt he was technically good but woefully off the pace and not properly match fit. Hyperbole and a half I'd say.

Cheers. In what was is that nothing like I'd described. One poster described him as "unfit" another said "waayyy off the pace". Isn't that pretty much what I'd said?boltonboris wrote:

So "unfit" and "way off the pace", translates to "Woeful".
As I said. Hyperbole

I like that you've chosen to cherry pick the ones that support your hyperbolic claims though and not the rest of them, who say they were impressed with his effort and quality.

He wears those glasses you see which filter out anything that wont agree with what he wants to say, its the reason he gets outed for spouting so much bollocks.boltonboris wrote:That's much better..BWFC_Insane wrote:I think that's semantics. Re: STU-SA
I wonder if he'll end up back in MLS over the summer in a loan deal to try and get some games under his belt ready for next season?
