Club Rebranding

Re: Club Rebranding
Lets just hope the rumours are false and we have a sponsor that goes along with our new badge. A badge that hopefully brings some of our history and heritage back to the shirt. Why not get a sponsor that is local? Would need to be a big firm with the money like Warburtons.. Bolton born and..... erm .... bread
You get the idea though. Just like the above article.. it would be nice to see clubs support local companies.

Or instead of a sponsor, put a picture of Stu "Crush a grape" Francis' face.General Mannerheim wrote:id love for a local millionaire to pay for the club to display no sponsor, ie out bid wankaloan or whatever.

Rumour has it our new sponsor is appliances online.. They are always on the box recently with the catchy jingle... A..O.. lets go!
Hope its true.. Better than gambling companies and loan sharks. Also a local company which is nice as mentioned above.
Their logo is a smiley face!

Well they can f*ck right off! Extorting the vulnerable with ridiculous interest rates is one thing, but matey adverts AND using the Ramones to sell washing machines. They can f*cking well do one!
They're on the blacklist with Swiftcover. Iggy Pop? Car Insurance? Oh my.
Country Life butter are all right though. John Lydon? Boy band wanker.

Re: Club Rebranding
Better than a huge orange blob (apologies to Adam Bogdan) .... though I thought the hints all were that "we know who it is, it's just to be announced" and that this was the "I'll lend you a £fiver if you give me a £tenner back on Friday" plc ? (whose logo is reasonably tasteful, so long as you ignore what it means).ohjimmyjimmy wrote:Aye that's just what we need to replace the orange blob....a bright green smiley face.
Where's this new name come from.
Ah, I used to dream of being sponsored by a sportswear Company !!
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Club Rebranding
Watching SSN in the daytime, all the ads are for PPI mis-selling, payday loans, injury solicitors, over 50's plans and stuff like that... depressing.
Preparing myself for one of the above that has a massive orange logo.

The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

i'd be happy enough with that - infinitely preferable to an loan-shark outfit... and - just think - every time we score - player just has to point at the smiley face... and - local too - what's not to like?

That way if somebody crocks you on the pitch, you look at your shirt and dial the number to make a claim while the c*nt who did it to you is still stood there at the scene!

That smiling face will be the face of John Roberts. Done very well for himself, indeed.
May the bridges I burn light your way
