Just seen this ?? Cash in or keep and lose cash ?? He's not exactly been prolific, the old guy at the side of me thinks he brilliant. He works hard is fast and casues problems but the goal return hasn't been there

There's more to scoring goals than ... er ... scoring goals.YtarmyYtarmy wrote:http://www.ftbpro.com/reader/bolton/235 ... eam=Bolton

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

For me, if there's any chance of getting a significant portion of that £4,000,000 back then get rid.
That's not a leopard!

Keep him and pair him with a prolific goal scorer
I'd rather see 442 next season with probably the strongest midfield we've had in a while (cheers Medo) and the absence of mark davies

Re: Ngog to Bordeaux ??
Clearly Ngog wants away and if he's issuing "Come and get me" quotes, I'd put money on him not being here by August. I think we're a far better team with him in it, he forces errors and makes space for others up front. That having been said, what matters now is that we recoup as much money as possible for him.

I've started the car. I'll drop the fecker at Horwich Parkway.
Re: Ngog to Bordeaux ??
Ideally I'd keep him but if he's really said that he'll probably run his contract down and we'll lose him for nothing. Agree with others about finding a poacher to play with him, he could cause absolute havoc next season with someone else there to tap them in. If he plays well, we go up and he leaves, then the financial loss is worth it. If he doesn't, we don't and he slinks off we'll wish we took the £2 mill.
So in conclusion..... I haven't got a fecking clue. Que sera and all that.

I don't think we could get an adequate replacement for £2-3m. I'd keep him as I think we'd have a much better chance of promotion, and if we do get promoted then it'll be worth the £2-3m we'll lose out on. But then I am a massive Ngog fanboy.

I think I agree, as I am confident we will be promoted. Yes!! you've done the thinking for me. I do like the guy too.Beefheart wrote:I don't think we could get an adequate replacement for £2-3m. Dougie re the situation:
DF: "You're always going to get speculation around good players. I'm very comfortable dealing with it. He is staying."
