Championship 2013/14 Predictions

Post by BWFC_Insane » Tue Jul 23, 2013 10:52 am

Ok so we're less than 2 weeks away now. The early start makes it a bit strange as there is still a long way to go in the transfer window, but still. What are your predictions for the upcoming Championship season (just for fun)?

1) Top 6 teams and Order
2) Bolton finishing position
3) Bolton top scorer
4) Bolton Player of the season
5) Bolton flop of the season

2) As it stands anywhere between 10th and 4th for me given our squad. I'll go 6th.

3) Eagles

4) Pratley

5) Pick one of our centre halves, any will do.

can you be a flop if you weren't expected to be otherwise? perhaps so - but to me it suggests someone you expected to do well - but didn't fulfil your hopes...

1. Notts Forrest
2. Leicester
3. QPR
4. Bolton
5. Reading
6. Blackburn

Bolton finishing 4th (I hope this is wrong as my wedding day is the day before the playoff final so hoping we nick 2nd :-))
Top scorer: Eagles (He will score some screamers this season)
Player of the Season: Hall (We have needed someone like this for a while, someone to beat a man)
Flop of the season: Bogdan (The whole defense worries me and no more than him, great shot stopper but... just not sure)

I can't see Watford as half there team has gone!
and Wigan - I think will have too many games with Europe, they now have the Coyle factor and they have no one to put it in the net now Kone has left.

Is that the case ? Have they not wangled it somehow or another to have 10 or 20 players they don't own playing for them ?

Don't think so, they signed most of them back the other day. 8 signings in a day. And a couple of new ones.

Only lost a couple and replaced those as it stands.

Indeed, I shall make a rash prediction that Watford will be promoted Champions with weeks of the season still to go.
