Think we'll play too defensively hoping for a draw again. Which we won't get, because we don't defend.

Off the top of my head there are 6 teams who have better squads than us;
Wigan, Reading, Leicester, Watford, Forest & QPR. 7th may be as good as we can hope for. I've tipped us for 8th since Brighton, Leeds or someone will also finish above us.
Was going to go but since it's on Sky I'll boo from the comfort of my own armchair

I'm only bothering because I'm going for a Wetherspoons breakfast and a beer (probably 7) before hand.

Fortress Reebok. We won't get beat this weekend. Picking up a point, at least.
Oh, and QPR can fecking do one.

I admire your optimism on the result and agree with your prediction on the tactics. They have an impressive forward line. I'm still pissed off from Saturday and therefore convinced we'll lose.boltonboris wrote:Think we'll play too defensively hoping for a draw again. Which we won't get, because we don't defend.
At least I'll have my 6 year old nephew at his first ever game going for a wee 3 times per half to distract me from the general shitness.

This one is live into Australia, as is next week against Blackburn. That's three out of the first five, which ain't too shabby.

All successful teams get beat at some point in the season, but successful sides very rarely lose 2 in a row. It will be interesting to see if DF can inspire the lads to a win at the weekend after such a bad day at the office. I think Moritz will start along with a fit again Eagles. Ngog should be fit so should be an attacking line up with the usual Defensive cover. I just think we need the creativity in midefield which Moritz and Eagles will supply.

yes - but - get with the programme - they have a calamitous disaster of a manager who will destroy the entire club...
Re: (QP)R We Gonna Pick Up Our First Win Of The Season?
I think we will win. They will score because Andy Johnson always scores against us.
This is QPR's first real test. No matter how shite we are away from home, we can give anybody a game at the Bok in this league. We are unbeaten in the last 12 or so games at home.
3-2 to the whites. Squeaky bums all round!

Thats the problem though. Best home form in 20 odd years, bound to come to an end at some point....ChrisC wrote:I think we will win. They will score because Andy Johnson always scores against us.

Can't see Freedman dislodging the current back four. Hopefully they will gel but it is quite evident we either don't have strength in depth or we aren't convinced they are up to the task. Personally i'd like to see Mills or Mears given a run out just to mix things up, maybe not starting with them but enough to let Knight and Wheater know that their positions aren't as secure as the situation may seem.

No, Setanta. Which I have through my Foxtel subscription. Setanta now has an online stream subscription which is $100 for the year, which isn't too bad if you don't have Foxtel.jonnybwfc wrote:Foxtel is covering the championship this season ?CarlosHernandez wrote:This one is live into Australia, as is next week against Blackburn.
