I wonder if it means anything that there's no Freedman interview on the BWFC YouTube page? They usually upload one on the night of the game so to go so long without a post-match video is unusual.

Ah! Now I see it. And I spent about five minutes looking for the short one. Must be an age thing.

Nah, I'm saving my stash of them in case we get relegated. Only the misery of Freedman will help my sanity then.

Dougie, by the way, declined his invite to join the Scotland U19's, so we can't kick off about that..
They surrendered a 2-0 lead at home too last night.. So maybe his influence is working from afar

Booooo
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Freedman out!
Much as I loved Maggie as a player, and admire his devotion to the club since, his view is somewhat coloured by the fact that is was his mate replaced by DF – I note he's suggested another old mate instead.bobo the clown wrote:McGinley was on GMR today and didn't pull his punches. Very direct about his view that for the past 2 years we've been set out unadventurously and more with an eye not to lose than to give it a go. That it's joyless and us losing fans and the need to switch on the fans, the town and the community again has to be a priority. He is of the view that it's time he went.
He suggested Phil Brown with Roch somewhere around. Not sure that's workable but certainly agree with his first part.
Not that that makes him wrong (or Freedman right), just far from unbiased.

Re: Freedman out!
Whilst Brownie's managerial skills are indisputable (and his ability to save suicidal people may also be an asset at the Macron Of Misery), surely we should be looking at more glamorous names?
I'd propose the McAteer/Stubbs Ddeam Team. They must be the Rioch/Todd pairing de nos jours.

Fabien De Freitas
"He missed a home match against Crewe Alexandra on 5 April 1999 which West Bromwich Albion lost 5-1 due to a misunderstanding over the fact he thought the game was an evening kick-off.The club got through to him by phone at 2.20 PM and he arrived at The Hawthorns just before the 3.00 PM kick-off and by then the team sheet had already been handed in."

I like it. The Brain's Trust is just what we need. Some sort of player/coach/pysio role for Mark Davies would be good #bootroom.Puskas wrote:Whilst Brownie's managerial skills are indisputable (and his ability to save suicidal people may also be an asset at the Macron Of Misery), surely we should be looking at more glamorous names?

"We defended well"
"We passed the ball well"
"I'm happy with the players"
"We know what we're trying to do"
"That win will come with time"
