Dog Eat Dog. In this respect football is holding up another mirror to reality, it is no longer a plausible escape.
At the end of the day though, big billy two fingers to Andrews and his big bleetin' gob.

Footballers are happy enough negotiating moves for bigger wages behind clubs' backs..

But at the same time, it doesn't do any harm to be nice..

Just seems daft from a self-interested point of view to not work hard to get a reputation for treating players well.

It's all well and good folk saying they get paid £x thousand pounds per week so should be able to handle it, but if as a player you get an offer of £20kpw from a team you know will treat you well, and one you think will treat you poorly, who do you pick?

Andrews, is the only player I can think of, in recent times, that's had negative things to say about how the club has treated them, Emma Davies aside. Maybe he's got a point, maybe he's just got a chip!

I don't think we've had many that I can remember.

Not transferees.

We did have a run of prominent players being let go and feeling it wasn't done with any class ;

Youri ... though I always felt he was as responsible for that as anyone. Same applies to Kevin & Emma.
Campo and Stelios I recall felt they were not let have their final goodbye in the right way.
Tungay, far less owed to, but was also sidelined unceremoniously.

Andrews is known for being a solid professional but this whinging doesn't do him any favours at all.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

After being unable to get a game at Rotherham

Leaves you wondering if he really has much of a future at this club

It sounds like he did well by what the Rotherham manager said. Being recalled sounds like a positive move to me, whether he goes out on loan again or we have other plans.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

I know... it's probably a cr*p site with no factual "news" but at least it's about a wanderers player., although why any one should want someone who is always injured is beyond me!!

I don't see it, would we really want to be helping Burnley get promoted?
