You should add the disclaimer that this is a loan window only, and all talk of permament transfers should be discouraged.

And we can only sign anyone for 90 days maximum. Plus it seems like we may not be able to sign anyone without first moving someone out. Which in this window is going to be tricky I'd imagine.

Lets have some positivity then. Chelsea still owe us a loan from the Cahill deal. Willian and Eto'o probably need some game time to settle into English football. There's 2 potentials.

Rumour has it our late move for Ozil fell through. Real happy with the player exchange involving Darren Pratley but Pratley wasn't keen, citing he would rather stay at Bolton where he is guaranteed first team football.

You are setting yourself up for a fall with a title thread like that.

It can't be any worse that the last one though so why not.

True but, (1) clubs might be slightly happier to release good players for that length of time and (2) 90 days of help is better than none. It'll take us through to Advent, by which time we'll have a much clearer idea of exactly what the juddering frig is going on.

Oh absolutely. It is better than nothing.

IF we are allowed to sign anyone which seems to be in doubt.

We might have to sign someone from a club who don't mind paying most of the loanee's wages. Difficult, but it can be done - we've been on the other side of it.

If wheater goes to Boro, you have to hope and pray that means Dawson on loan to christmas, qwitha view to signing in January when the sky money rocks up in our account. Belief is everything!

Yeah, he's one for whom the shorter loan window might work. We get a player, he gets games, the parent club get him back in time to assess him themselves before the January sales.

If we do someone in this loan window, can we wait till Friday to do it and not waste some of the nineties on an international week pliz!
