Yeovil listen carefully. I shall say this only once

Fact.
QFT, well said!

Unfortunately, I can be anywhere near Bolton, internet, phone or radio on Saturday so I'll have to make do with the smug feeling inside and highlights on telly.
me neither - i have a day's training in debt counselling in exeter...

Will probably be more exciting.

I remember not that long ago (8 years?) us playing Yeovil at Huish in one of the early rounds of the league cup. Blessing Kaku scored a late winner for us. People were up in arms because our stiffs had made heavy weather of it and only won one-nil. My, how times have changed...... for both clubs.

I just played that game myself. No idea! Have a feeling McNaughton will come straight in at RB and Baptiste will move inside but god knows who will partner him. Cant see it being Knight though.I cant see the other two new lads starting,Beckford up front with Eagles just behind wandering about a bit? Midfield is anyones guess,Pratley could end up on the wing. He may even go 442,approaching the Yeovil game in a negative manner would get the crowd pretty riled before a ball is even kicked.

It's really tricky to pick a team given the consistent non performance of so many players and the lack of first team games for the new lads. Suffice to say it's a shame Cravies is out, likewise what would we give to have Holden, mavis and/or Moritz fully fit right now.It does feel like time to get a plan for home games and stick with it. Likewise for away games. It's a very valid critisism that there's been two many changes and a lack of clear planning /organisation which cant be helping. If we now have what we have to work with for the next few months it's time DF picked a team/system and backed it.

–––––––––––-----------Bogdan

MacNaughton----Baptiste----Ream----Tierney

---------------Spearing----------Medo-----------

Chungy––––––----–-Eagles---------------Hall

------------------------Beckford

I'd go for something like that.

Personally I wouldn't start cyl, he's been dire by common consent. I suspect Dougie will though so for me its the same team but mills to partner Baptiste at centre half.

Funnily enough that's what I ended up with too. Just uneasy about the idea of ream back in a last man situation, not so much for this game but as a long term prospect. The problem with Knight Mills Wheater is they are all so immobile,Knight is dozy,Mills cant pass a ball and wheater has lost pace and confidence since his injury(yes I know he was slow before!) That's quite lot of highly paid dead wood to be accepting we have to get shut of if possible without getting any money back. Keeping them on may be good money after bad though.
No idea what to make of Mills but i assume DF thought making knight captain would be something he would rise to and become more focussed. Also assume there was a hope that game time would get wheater back to the level he is able to perform at. Hasnt happened :(

Ream and Baptiste at centre half would be too weak in the air.

I think he'll recall Knight but I can see McNaughton playing from the off to get Baptiste into his proper position. Infact i'll be pissed off if mcnaughton doesn't start .

It was televised and I was on my travels and watched it in a pub in Co. Durham ... which claims to be the place where "My Grandfather's Clock" was written.

One of our "stiffs" was Fernando Hierro no less.

If Ream has been as good as claimed as defensive midfielder putting him back where he's so clearly struggled is a big risk.

Rather see wheater there than Knight but otherwise totally agree. We may have stumbled onto the best use of Ream as it is. He is weak in the air and too lightweight to be a centre back even if he does have some pace. Baptiste should provide a better compliment to one of the static three. Picking the best of those is a bit like choosing the most intelligent of the three stooges

All the more reason for people to have been up in arms then, I suppose.

BTW - I've eaten at that pub. Near Yarm isn't it?! Lovely place - very decent nosebag, can't remember the name of it though.

Anyway: COYWM :oyea:
